Ferries of Sydney is a site
detaily many of the hundreds of ferries that have served Sydney.
Lady Cutler has recently been
restored and is now cruising Port Phillip Bay.
The South
Steyne is a good example of re-use of an old ferry. She is
maintained in working condition.
The Lady Chelmsford, currently the oldest Sydney ferry extant was until
recently available from this charter group. She was
recently available for sale and is still in Melbourne.
Lady Scott is currently the oldest Sydney ferry still on the harbour,
she's now known as Harbour
Queen and is easily recognisable from the distinctive shape of her
hull.
Lady Denman is the best preserved small harbour ferry, she has her own
museum which can be found here. The story of her
preservation is nothing short of remarkable.
Lady McKell is now known as the Melbourne
Star and operates as a cruising restaurant in Melbourne.
Lady Wakehurst
is available for hire for functions.

Other in-use or preserved Sydney ferries with no pages available are
the North Head (under preservation in a purpose built dry dock in
Cairns) and Lady Woodward (serving the salmon industry on the
west coast
of Tasmania.
