Fund Raising

We have a current fund raising target balance of $30,597 that needs to be reached, you can see how far we have managed on the journey  via our fun raising thermometer on the front page.

This is the final balance of payment for the cost of the purchase of the vessel - so far we have raised (and paid) $30,000 of the initial $60,320 loan.

All donations $2 and over are tax deductible!

Volunteering

Baragoola needs volunteers!

Our volunteer team are the heart and soul of the Association and put in an immense amount of work.

Our team needs the following people:

Bolliermakers/welders
Electricians
People who can assist with cleaning and remediating the hull
Carpenters or people with some woodworking skilla
General "all rounders" for painting and cleaning and general work

Membership Information


Membership ranges from $10 a year for a concessional member up to $100 a year for business group membership. Membership entitles you to vote at our Annual General Meeting and to run for one of the Committee positions. All volunteers are required to be paid up members of the association.

You can download our application form and send it (with your payment) to our address above. After processing, you will receive our members kit.

Fees:

Concessional member - $10 per year - proof may be required; open to students and social security beneficiaries (pension etc)
Associate member - $15 per year - not entitled to a vote at the AGM or hold a Committee position
Ordinary member - $30 per year
Family membership - $50 per year
Group (business etc) member - $100 per year

There is a once only joining fee of $10 (free for concessional members)

Membership is renewable each financial year
