Visitors to the
Baragoola are
always welcome.
However, access to the vessel can be a little difficult.
Baragoola is moored beside the
old Coal Loader at Waverton and NSW Maritime have forbidden public
access via the derelict and dangerous walkway at water level.
As a result, access to
Baragoola
(and her berth mate Cape Don) can only be legally done by water.
Baragoola has a fleet of three
tenders that we use to ferry people to our vessel. In general, there is
someone always on board every Saturday and this is the preferred day
for visitors to attend.
We pick up visitors from one of two locations in Greenwich and
Waverton. Please contact us ahead of time to arrange a visit by
email or phone - 0405 945 465.
Visitors who arrive by private boat are welcome but should arrange this
ahead of time. Please note that no vessel is to be tied up along
Baragoola's port side and that the
Association takes no responsibility for damage that may be caused to
private vessels moored next to
Baragoola.
